Philippe A. Souvestre, MD (France) is the president and founder of NeuroKinetics Health Services (BC) Inc. which is based in Vancouver, B.C. since 1997. Philippe is a Medical Doctor from France with over 30 years of professional experience in military and civilian milieus. He graduated with special honours from the University of Aix-Marseilles, France, specializing in Traumatology, Medical Neurophysiology, Aerospace and Sports Medicine. He also holds multiple post-doctorate degrees including, among others, Cognitive and Behavioural Neurosciences, Sports and Aerospace Medicine.

Philippe is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA), where he has served for a number of years on the Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the British Columbia Qualified Acupuncturists and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Association (QATCMA) and is a member.

Philippe has been an active researcher, both in France, and in Canada, and is currently partnering with Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC on several studies.

As a Medical Doctor in France, Philippe was the medical health and performance advisor for several successful national and professional sports teams including skydiving teams, aerobatics pilots, rugby league team, and Olympic bi-athletes.

Philippe has been a pilot and skydiver for more than three decades and has flown over 1500 hours on various types of military and civilian aircraft on land and sea. He has been an active Vancouver Soaring Association instructor and tow pilot in Canada.

Philippe has been a long time associate lecturer for physicians and flight surgeons and has also trained flight test crews in Flight Safety and Occupational Traumatology. As a flight surgeon for the French Air Force he served as an advisor to aerospace corporations and organizations such as Dassault Aviation/Flight Test Division and the French National Flight Test Centre. In the late 1980s, he was chosen as a candidate astronaut for France’s national space agency (CNES).

POPPI SABHANEY, R.Ac.

Poppi Sabhaney is a BC Registered Acupuncturist and is the President of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of BC (TCMABC).

Having received training in several countries internationally in both Traditional Eastern and Modern Western Medical Acupuncture, Poppi specializes in mental health, addictions and pain management.

Poppi is a registered NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) detoxification specialist and mental health expert.

Poppi has a simple, straightforward way of explaining the body’s complex biofeedback mechanisms and what works to support its ability to regenerate, heal and maintain health of the mind and body.

As a complement to his core clinical work with acupuncture, Poppi has worked in a variety of medical settings, including VCH Centre City Lodge extended health-care facility, and provides several community acupuncture programs to the DTES and around the lower mainland.

Poppi is known for his professional and warm bedside manner and his employment of advanced techniques in acupuncture.

DIANA PEDERSON, BA, Director of Project Development

Diana supervises NeuroKinetics’ project development and research. She has been with NeuroKinetics for 9 years, and is passionate about furthering the expertise, and continuing to find ways to make the benefits more easily available and accessible to the Public.
